IRONMAN 70.3 Baku: 90 km bike leg, 322 m of climbing. Elevation profile, what the terrain asks of you, the weather this race day usually brings, and how to pace this course.
Course intel
Two loops, 90 km, from the Baku city skyline out to open roads in the suburbs, with a marked turn every 10 km; official total elevation gain is under 383 m. Fast flat sections alternate with a few easy small climbs; many turns, so keep your rhythm steady, then back into the city for transition. Early September on the Caspian coast is windy, and the headwind sections are automatically bumped up a level.

Speed score
Rolling terrain is where you overspend without noticing: 20 extra watts on every little rise adds up and empties your legs for the back half. Let power touch the top of the range on the small stuff and leave it there.
