Course intel
A single clockwise lap of Langkawi: from Pantai Kok toward Teluk Yu, over the rolling hills at Datai to the southeast side of the island, through several kampung villages. About 700 m elevation gain, dense short climbs and lots of corners. Late November is tropical hot and humid with afternoon showers likely; heat and humidity are the main cost.

Speed score
Rolling terrain is where you overspend without noticing: 20 extra watts on every little rise adds up and empties your legs for the back half. Let power touch the top of the range on the small stuff and leave it there.
